Lorac Couture Liquid Shine Lipstick in Haute and Hard Candy Hydrating Lip Stain in Tickled Pink

About a month ago Hautelook featured Lorac products for one of their events. I purchased the color Haute, which is a mix between a Barbie and baby pink. I'd been searching for this shade from different brands for awhile and I'm happy I finally found it. I'd never owned a Lorac product before this purchase so I don't have a lot of experience with this brand. However, I have an addiction of makeup, so this isn't my first lipstick, but it is my first liquid lipstick, and first purchase from Hautelook. Lots of firsts with this purchase!  The lipstick was $4 on Hautelook and shipping brought it up to about $10.. Not bad for a lip color.

This post was meant to be a review for the Lorac Couture Liquid Shine Lipstick, but ended up being a review/dupe review..

As you can see from the photo, I'm pretty pale, so I was worried this color would be too bright for me, but it actually isn't.  The funny thing is I unknowingly bought a dupe for this color a couple weeks before this was delivered. It's a lip stain pencil made by Hard Candy in the color Tickled Pink. The Lorac is just a shade darker than the Hard Candy pencil, and has a shinier finish.

The funny thing is that without shipping, the Lorac lippie cost less than the Hard Candy pencil, which was $5 or $6. I love both lippies, and am happy with both purchases. I plan on purchasing more Lorac lip colors because I love the formula and the fact that it isn't sticky. It also smells great too, like vanilla.

Bose Soundlink Revolve+ Bluetooth Speaker

Last week I was sent the brand new Bose Soundlink Revolve+ to review. It has bumpers to protect it from being knocked over and it's water resistant so you can set it by the pool for that upcoming Summer bash. I use it to help motivate me to clean and I love that it's loud enough to drown out my awful singing. It has a handle on the top of the speaker for easy transportation, and it won't break if you knock it over. The battery lasts up to 16 hours, and only takes about 4 hours to charge,  so you don't have to be the lame guy (or girl) who kills the party because the music stopped. You can skip to the next song by double pressing the multi function button, or you can summon Siri or Google Now by holding it down. I use the Bose Connect app on my phone to control the volume and skip to the next song if I'm not near the speaker. I love the sound quality that I get from the Revolve+. It's loud and clear, there's no static or skipping due to a faulty connection.

Fashion Inspired Mani

This is my fashion inspired mani.. I chose heels by Loriblu from Forzieri.com. I don't own these heels because they are waay too expensive for me, but I thought they'd make a cute mani.  This was my translation of shoes to nails.

Cooler Can Monthly

Cooler Can Monthly launched in June of 2014 and has quickly grown to a popular and successful business. The idea came from it's founder, Jon Marcher, while he was barbequing in the backyard of his home with his friend's dad who told him about a whole drawer devoted to koozies, and so the idea was born. I contacted Jon about reviewing Cooler Can Monthly and he emailed me back saying it sounded like a great idea and he'd send me July's koozie along with several from the past. I got this month's koozie which features the Virginville Hotel in Virginville, PA. I love that the Cooler Can Monthly site has info about the featured koozie instead of just sending them without a backstory.  " The Virginville Hotel is the last remaining “public house” in a town that once had three such places where residents could eat, drink and be merry. Started in 1885, the establishment is located in a town with a unique, but quaint name. While the name might get laughs from outsi
