Influenster UniVoxBox

I received the UniVoxBox this week from Influenster. In this box I got Broadway ImPress manicure in TGIF, NYC Expert Last lipstick in Forever Fuchsia, Red Rose Real Tea water enhancer in Black Tea, Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation, a Pilot Acroball Pure White pen and a box of Playtex Sport Fresh Balance Tampons. *All products were complimentary from Influenster. I was extremely excited to receive this box because it was my second VoxBox.

I was especially excited about the ImPress manicure and the Stay Matte foundation. The ImPress nails stayed on for about a week then I added glue so they'd stay on longer. I'm not much for florals but I loved the design so much that I'm looking for them in stores. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find this exact design in stores yet.

The Stay Matte foundation works wonderfully and I'm excited that it was part of this box. I'm light skinned.. So much that me and a piece of paper are almost twinsies, so I was happy to see that this foundation matched my skin perfectly and it wasn't too dark.

Next up is the NYC Expert Last lip color in Forever Fuchsia. It's too bright for me to wear alone, but I'd probably layer it with a lighter pink on top. It's a really pretty pink for spring and I'd totally wear it by itself if I could get away with it.

The next product that I'm loving in the UniVoxBox is the Red Rose Real Tea water enhancer. I love tea and I love cute Lil bottles. It's a perfect match. There isn't much I can tell you other than it tastes like black tea.

Next is the Acroball pen. I was told that the Acroball pen was going to be a gel pen type. It wasn't, or didn't seem like it. Mine took a few scribbles to get the ink flowing and then I was good to go. I'm currently using it to write down plans for a road trip =)

The last product is the Playtex Sport Fresh Balance Tampons. They're scented to keep you smelling fresh..even when the enemy strikes.

To sum it up, this was a great VoxBox, especially for those of you living in dorms. Every product was perfect and will be used at some point, except the foundation...it's being used every day.

Thanks Influenster!!

**unfortunately due to some issue with Blogger, I'm unable to post pics of my products.

Bose Soundlink Revolve+ Bluetooth Speaker

Last week I was sent the brand new Bose Soundlink Revolve+ to review. It has bumpers to protect it from being knocked over and it's water resistant so you can set it by the pool for that upcoming Summer bash. I use it to help motivate me to clean and I love that it's loud enough to drown out my awful singing. It has a handle on the top of the speaker for easy transportation, and it won't break if you knock it over. The battery lasts up to 16 hours, and only takes about 4 hours to charge,  so you don't have to be the lame guy (or girl) who kills the party because the music stopped. You can skip to the next song by double pressing the multi function button, or you can summon Siri or Google Now by holding it down. I use the Bose Connect app on my phone to control the volume and skip to the next song if I'm not near the speaker. I love the sound quality that I get from the Revolve+. It's loud and clear, there's no static or skipping due to a faulty connection....

Cooler Can Monthly

Cooler Can Monthly launched in June of 2014 and has quickly grown to a popular and successful business. The idea came from it's founder, Jon Marcher, while he was barbequing in the backyard of his home with his friend's dad who told him about a whole drawer devoted to koozies, and so the idea was born. I contacted Jon about reviewing Cooler Can Monthly and he emailed me back saying it sounded like a great idea and he'd send me July's koozie along with several from the past. I got this month's koozie which features the Virginville Hotel in Virginville, PA. I love that the Cooler Can Monthly site has info about the featured koozie instead of just sending them without a backstory.  " The Virginville Hotel is the last remaining “public house” in a town that once had three such places where residents could eat, drink and be merry. Started in 1885, the establishment is located in a town with a unique, but quaint name. While the name might get laughs from outsi...

BzzAgent Happenings

So since I'm going to be super busy this weekend, I'm going to lump a couple campaigns together in one blog. I'm in 5 or 6 campaigns on bzzagent.com right now (which is slightly overwhelming btw), but I'm loving getting to try all these products! Campaigns are as follows: Excedrin Extra Strength I get extremely terrible migraines, I mean 'lie in bed all day with the blanket over my head' bad,  and it usually takes several 500mg capsules of Ibuprofen or Tylenol to make them go away. BzzAgent sent me a 24 capsule bottle of Excedrin Extra Strength, and I'm convinced it's the best thing on earth to make me feel better. I can take one 500mg capsule, and the migraine is gone in 15-20 minutes . I ran out of them about a week ago, and nothing has helped since. I've tried Tylenol, Ibuprofen and Aspirin.. I'm officially converted to Excedrin Extra Strength. The ingredients are Aspirin, Acetaminophen, and Caffeine. By themselves, they don't work. B...
