Project 7 Gourmet Mints and Gum

While perusing the check out lane candy in Meijer, I came across a packet of 'Front Porch Lemonade' flavored gum. Intrigued, I decided to buy it. I always like trying new candy and gum. Besides, who could pass up that name? There are 12 pieces in the re-sealable foil packet. The front of the packet says 'Great tasting and world changing'.  My first thought of this gum was that it tasted great. However, like most gum, it lost its flavor after just a few minutes. Serving size is 2 pieces, but with how fast it lost flavor, I had to chew 3. After 15 mins of chewing the gum, I had to spit it out because it got an awful, bitter fake sugar taste. I really want to try the other flavors, but I'd probably only buy them if I was in a pinch. I'll probably pick up another flavor just to see if the flavor pay off is any better.

Bose Soundlink Revolve+ Bluetooth Speaker

Last week I was sent the brand new Bose Soundlink Revolve+ to review. It has bumpers to protect it from being knocked over and it's water resistant so you can set it by the pool for that upcoming Summer bash. I use it to help motivate me to clean and I love that it's loud enough to drown out my awful singing. It has a handle on the top of the speaker for easy transportation, and it won't break if you knock it over. The battery lasts up to 16 hours, and only takes about 4 hours to charge,  so you don't have to be the lame guy (or girl) who kills the party because the music stopped. You can skip to the next song by double pressing the multi function button, or you can summon Siri or Google Now by holding it down. I use the Bose Connect app on my phone to control the volume and skip to the next song if I'm not near the speaker. I love the sound quality that I get from the Revolve+. It's loud and clear, there's no static or skipping due to a faulty connection....

Cooler Can Monthly

Cooler Can Monthly launched in June of 2014 and has quickly grown to a popular and successful business. The idea came from it's founder, Jon Marcher, while he was barbequing in the backyard of his home with his friend's dad who told him about a whole drawer devoted to koozies, and so the idea was born. I contacted Jon about reviewing Cooler Can Monthly and he emailed me back saying it sounded like a great idea and he'd send me July's koozie along with several from the past. I got this month's koozie which features the Virginville Hotel in Virginville, PA. I love that the Cooler Can Monthly site has info about the featured koozie instead of just sending them without a backstory.  " The Virginville Hotel is the last remaining “public house” in a town that once had three such places where residents could eat, drink and be merry. Started in 1885, the establishment is located in a town with a unique, but quaint name. While the name might get laughs from outsi...

BzzAgent Happenings

So since I'm going to be super busy this weekend, I'm going to lump a couple campaigns together in one blog. I'm in 5 or 6 campaigns on bzzagent.com right now (which is slightly overwhelming btw), but I'm loving getting to try all these products! Campaigns are as follows: Excedrin Extra Strength I get extremely terrible migraines, I mean 'lie in bed all day with the blanket over my head' bad,  and it usually takes several 500mg capsules of Ibuprofen or Tylenol to make them go away. BzzAgent sent me a 24 capsule bottle of Excedrin Extra Strength, and I'm convinced it's the best thing on earth to make me feel better. I can take one 500mg capsule, and the migraine is gone in 15-20 minutes . I ran out of them about a week ago, and nothing has helped since. I've tried Tylenol, Ibuprofen and Aspirin.. I'm officially converted to Excedrin Extra Strength. The ingredients are Aspirin, Acetaminophen, and Caffeine. By themselves, they don't work. B...
