Beautykind Review

Received a package today that I'd totally forgotten about from Beautykind.. I assumed that it was one of the many that they've canceled and gave up on ever receiving it. They sent the wrong brush cleaner and I hate the rollerball. So the whole order was a bust. =(

But I'm going to try to redeem the perfume by layering it over other sweet smelling perfumes.. Anywho, on to the products.

Chocolat Mat Rollerbal
First item and the one I was really looking forward to receiving is the Chocolat Mat rollerball by Masaki Matsushïma. It's described as 'mysterious and comforting'.. At first I wasn't impressed by it, but I'm slowly falling in love with it. It's a scent that I probably wouldn't pick up in-store, but I bought it online without knowing what it smelled like. The initial scent is strong and odd, but when it mellows out, it smells like chocolate and roses..
 The scent notes are:
Base Notes: Coconut and musk
Heart Notes: Lush cacao and dark chocolate
Top Note: Rose
I don't smell coconut at all, which I'm kind of disappointed about.

Beauty So Clean Conditioning Brush Cleanser

Second item (that I didn't buy) was the Beauty So Clean Conditioning Brush Cleanser. I put the brush cleaner that smells like cake pops in my cart and this is what they sent me..  I'll still use it, but I hate that my brushes smell like chemicals when they're supposed to be 'clean'. I emailed them about the brush cleaner and they said they switched it out because the cake pop brush cleaner wasn't in stock and gave me a 25% off code that they give new members when they sign up, which I won't be using.

It features Prada's 'Candy', Jessica Simpson's 'Fancy' and a few others. http://beautydem.com/set/595 Join me on www.beautydem.com !!!!

September 2016 DegustaBox!!

A couple months ago, as I was browsing subscription boxes, I came across a promo code for DegustaBox. DegustaBox is a monthly subscription service featuring 10-15 products. You don't know what you're getting until you open the box! It's $19.95 a month, but you can use this link for $10 off. https://www.degustabox.com/us/register/ref/KAITLYNA-C84 or if you'd rather, just use this code. KAITLYNA-C84 The box was packed full of yummy goodies and I was so excited about eating all of it. I've read a few reviews of this box and they were all pretty positive. The first item, as seen above are PopCORNers. Gluten-free, GMO verified, vegan chips in the flavor Carnival Kettle. They're delicious and taste just like kettle corn. They are flat like a chip, but they're popcorn. Normally I try to stay away from popcorn because it messes with my teeth, but now I can have my popcorn and eat it too! Sorry that was so (pop) corny 😂. I can't stop eating them! These a...

August 2015 Starlooks LooksBook

Starlooks started the LooksBook as a way to introduce subscribers to up and coming trends. The LooksBook is only $12 a month, and includes 3 perfect size cosmetics, as well as 3 lifestyle gift cards to featured brands, and a booklet showing you the best way to use your new makeup.   This month's LooksBook theme was 'Resort' and features three items perfect for summer. It also included three gift cards. The gift cards are: $15 to Torrain (recycled bags with a global conscience), The Laboratory (clothing and jewelry) and $50 to Versa swimwear.   The first item is a water eyeshadow in the color Aqua. It's almost a crème eye shadow that looks like it could be amazing with the right skin tone. Unfortunately it just didn't work for me. I'll try it later on top of a white base and primer, but by itself, it just doesn't show up all that well.                     ...
